The principal theme of Prof. Srivastava’s research is utilization of synthetic biology and interdisciplinary bioengineering for precise identification and therapeutic modulation of complex biological microenvironments. We boldly pioneer Healthcare Microrobotics.

Our research focuses on the fascinating realm of active matter interactions within living systems. We achieve this by utilizing nano/microscale tools, biochemical techniques, and custom instrumentation setups. Current research interests include self-organizing microdevices, host-microbiome interactions, alternative delivery technologies, and small molecule therapeutics.

Sarvesh has built a reputation for attracting highly achieving students to conduct interdisciplinary research. A number of his trainees have secured admission at reputed academic institutions or employed at leading corporations around the globe. He has trained 3 post-doctoral fellows, 5 PhD students, and 4 Master students.
